BRIEF HISTORY

The University staff primary school started under Federal University of Technology Bauchi later Abubakar Tafawa Balewa College Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Bauchi Campus. Now Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Staff School , Bauchi, on 4 th October 1982 .

VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT

The vision admission statement of the school is "To enhance the right to relevant education to all staff children and environment, for the children of the staff and environment to benefit from the educational environment"

FUNCTION OF THE SCHOOL

•  The primary function of the staff primary school is to create conducive working condition among the staff of the University to bring their children to have a sound foundation and Qualitative primary education.

•  Staff school is used for teaching and research by the University.

•  It provide educational services to the immediate community and the country at large.

•  Prepare primary school pupils for secondary education

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

•  Nursery school certificate

•  Immunization records from recognized medical institution

•  Birth certificate(minimum age of six years )

•  Transfer certificate.

OBJECTIVES

The objective of the school is that at the end of the primary education of the pupils they will be able to :-

1. Qualify for admission into secondary school.
2. Read and write effectively.
3. Communicate effectively in English
4. Attain good moral behaviour
5. Posses good quality citizen
