Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University

School of Management Technology was established in 1998 with three programmes, Viz; Accounting Technology Programme; Management Technology Programme; and Transport Technology Programme. These are full-fledged academic programmes engaged in teaching and research. These programmes collectively run six degree awarding options in Accounting; Banking & Finance; Insurance; Business Management; Information Technology; and Transport Technology. However, only four options are mounted. Accounting Technology Programme houses two of the mounted options (Accounting and Banking & Finance). The Programme has graduated its first set of students in 2004.

It is hoped that every student passing through the school will appreciate the University's renowned culture of academic excellence, discipline, freedom of association, worship and expression.
